So which stage of belittling PS4 are we now? I guess we've arrived at the phase when people finally admit that it's selling better than competition, but it's not enough to compare it to a machine from 7 years ago, now we're at the "they don't deserve the sales" category.
I think it deserves the sales because it is the superior machine, with more advanced specs, a much more recognizable brand name, less PR disasters, far less, if any, hidden fees that go along with the purchase (batteries, charger, headphone adapters, paywalls...), wider variety of exclusive games on offer, etc.
People on the whole are sensible, and when it comes to spending $400, they tend to do research instead of just looking at a logo on the box.
I certainly hope that the other two consoles manage to sell well, but they both have a variety of problems and disadvantages, some of which they are trying to correct. Unfortunately for them, one has become too introverted, and the other never managed to establish the brand strong enough to warrant making irrational demands from the general public.
