You're saying Sony invented the gaming industry then painting anyone outside the parts Sony does well in as outside the mainstream.  The Wii doesn't count because those people aren't gamers despite the fact that they bought game.  Handhelds don't count because they don't include Microsoft, although that didn't seem to matter when we were discussing the PS1 gen.  So yeah, just cutting out the parts they didn't do well in.

Beyond the issue of bias, cutting out the PC, handheld, and mobile sectors completely ruins any claim of a complete analysis.  You can't pretend home consoles exist in a vacuum and that arcades, PCs, handhelds, and even mobile gaming didn't effect them.
