When companies release terrible ideas and people support it from the "sheep portion" of gamers we'll call it, it leads to bad things for everyone. Singleplayer main storyline cut out DLC, on disc DLC, season passes, microtransactions on consoles, Day 1 giant patches, unfinished releases, digital game pricing. A lot of elements of these shit trends in gaming are results of support from certain corners of videogamers. If no one supported these ideas, they never would have become forced on the entire gaming industry.
