Yes, perish the thought of a multiplat substituting for a exclusive.

Allow me to blow your mind again. I bought Devil May Cry 4 as a substitute for God of War.

(Your brain = Does not compute)?

Lol no you didn't. "Substitute" implies having an option to substitue in. You can't have DMC4 "sub in for" GOW, when you had no GOW to sub in for in the first place. You didn't buy DMC "instead of " GOW, because you couldn't buy GOW for something else to be bough "instead of" it. That's like playing 5 on 5 basketball, and saying you were the "substitute" player because the starter got tired....but you, yourself, are the starter because no other alternates or a bench exists. Imagine if LeBron got tired and subbed out and the sub in was himself. Makes no sense, right? Because, effectively, there was no substitution.

"Substitute" implies more than 1 thing that can interchange positions. You didn't have a PS3. You didn't have the option of choosing one over the other. You were stuck with what you were stuck with. Not "substituting".

OT: I may pick this up if there are improvements. If this is the "definitive" version. I didn't get around to DS2 but if nothing else changes and this is just a port with prettier graphics, I'll pick it up for PS3 or PC

Your just arguing my not-precise choice of wording. I bought DMC4 to get my 3rd person beat-em-up fix, thus GOW wasn't a factor to buy a PS3 (not that I would have anyway).

In this case, I didn't buy DS2 so by getting this remake, I wouldn't consider Bloodborne as a reason to buy the PS4 (not that I would have anyway).

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
