Hmmm, I'd say it's a pretty good ways behind (depending on the accuracy and the sure fire elimination of the Bundles). I'm thinking it will be a lop-sided launch.

I wouldn't consider approximately 100k that big of a difference, but obviously with the bundle and factoring in Europe's numbers Destiny on PS4 is bound to blow out the Xbox version. 

Also since the details of the exclusive content and beta period had been released the number of preorders per week for ps4 has grown to routinely double those on the Xb1, meaning the gap will continue to grow even in the US.
