1. Flagship titles are for the holidays. September to January are prime months to release big budget games because thats when people spend more. If you're going to spend more on a product you're going to have to release it when people are going to spend more on you're product. Its strategical balance.

2. I doubt people were gushing over the FPS of TLoU. You may have misread or heard that somewhere. Why would people be gushing about 20-30 inconsistent FPS? TLoU on PS3 was great graphics wise but anyone who's played knows the game could use some touch ups and the PS4 for many varying reasons is a great place to fix it. Profit greatly as well as please the fans and bring in new customers? You'd have to be an idiot not to release TLoU Remastered.

3. If TLoU came out along other bigger titles it would sell LESS, not more, meaning LESS profit. Typically people also buy/play less videogames during the summer season and revenues dip. If your Sony, your not going to release a flagship title during summer when you will make more off the title releasing it during winter. Its all just strategic approach. Yes its disappointing there aren't more but at least we can agree that TLoU Remastered is not a bad thing.

Alright, I'm not arguing this anymore. In the end it's subjective. If you really love TLOU you'll be satisfied this summer. If not, you'll be disappointed with the releases. And by the way, tons of flagship titles are launches over the summer, when kids are all home for the break and people take leave from work.

Sure thing. But just to clear this up, there aren't anywhere near tons of flagship titles launched during the summer, and won't be in the near future. Your post standing on its own can be accepted due to ignorance but since its a response to my understanding of the word 'flaghsip' (which you should look up) I have to let it be known that GT is Sony's flagship title, Halo is Microsoft's flagship title, Assassins Creed is Ubisofts flagship title and so on. GTA is probably the closest regular release near the summer time (it usually launches during april-may in the spring season) but even GTA V released in september. But if you can find tons of flagship titles that were released during the summer season then go ahead and post them and I will admit that I'm wrong.
