The idea of Nintendo shipping consoles to counter GT5p is somewhat strange. If they can't meet the overall demand, why would they ship consoles to one region just to compete with PS3 when one title releases. So far there has been little direct response from Nintendo to what is happening with other consoles, and I applaude that. They have their own strategy and need not concern with minor issues like another console temporarily exceeding the weekly sales of Wii.
