Zekkyou said: Are GC really big enough to continue the Killzone series? I thought they were a relatively small studio, certainly not big enough to maintain the technical standards Killzone is kept to (unless it's another Vita entry, which seems unlikely). Still, whatever it is they have me interested. If it's a home console Killzone title then i'd be curious to see how it turns out, though my interest for the series itself is rather limited. If it's not KZ then the obvious question will be "which multi-million selling franchie?" :p |
i forgot what guerrilla cambridge's original name was but it was an entire studio that was absorbed into GG around the time that killzone mercenaries was greenlit. so there is the team that did kz:sf and the team that did kz:mercenaries. they did some hiring into the studio as well just before the ps4 reveal.
point being,.. not so long ago they were small-ish but they exapanded by hire and aquisition between kz3 and kz:sf. today they are two full sized teams.

GC used to be SCE Cambridge. I knew they were small-ish as SCEC, but i didn't know they had gone through a lot of expanding. That's good to hear at least.
Anyway, doesn't Guerrilla as a whole now consist of 3 teams? The SF team, the new IP team and Cambridge. Surprising how much they've grown in the last few years.
