I'm glad I am not the only one that sees the Ps4 and Xboxone as redundancies for the most part. In fact, both of those are redundant to the PC. Nintendo consoles offer truly unique games.
All that being said, its about the money. If three home consoles make a profit (and computer manufacturers / parts manufacturers and clients like Steam make a profit), then we have room for the current 3-4 home platforms in the market.
