Why Remasters/HD versions are awesome.

Yes they were, so the remasters wasnt needed.

ok well I'm just saying that new technology affords them the opportunity to give us more content for less price and make all that content better with not only the visual and performance enhancements, but with a better controller possibly and the convenience of not having to keep an old system around.  It's a solid value proposition.  

Look at tLoU which people are bashing.  It's got over $30 worth of DLC tacked on to a $30 game (on Amazon currently) and they're selling it for $50.  So even if you take away all the enhancements they've given the game and playing it on PS4 will afford, it's STILL a value deal.  I swear if they would have just called it GotY edition and released it on PS3 with all the DLC they would have so much less hate since that's what every other game does (so happy they decided to remaster and include everything anyway for a lower price)
