Sucks for the Dutch. So much promise, still nothing to show for it and the 1-0 team reaches the finals yet again. I hope Germany beats Argentina. Can't have 1-0 games become the new WC winning formula.

Only because there are no ties in knockout stages. Don't forget that the same Ghana team was one Luios Suarez away from the semis last WC. Just a very unlucky team with finishing. You act like they were just a no name pushover. Meanwhile, Argentina needed injury time to beat Iran? See? Goes both ways...

Nothing against Argentina but I had a lot of trouble watching Spain's games the last WC and Argentina has become the new Spain somewhat. It's just boring for a neutral observer like myself. I want Germany to win to see positive football prosper because I dont want teams to start seeking 1-0s as the new successful formula.

You think football is about scoring goals? Football is about playing, scoring goals makes you win, but winning does not mean playing good. Most of the time it means playing safe... Argentina didn't score too many goals this world cup, and to be honest, we haven't played very good at first, but the match against Belgium and today we showed how superior we were. It's hard to penetrate a human wall near their goal, but Holland had almost no chances of reaching Romero. We played nice football today, Messi couldn't play, as always, having 3 players around him all the time, but the oranges were really agressive, the referi was too generous towards them...

 

Brazil has a really weak team, and that was exposed when they're only good player was injured and had to play against Germany, which is like the worst rival you could find in this WC, Now they have to play against Netherlands, which is a very good team as well, I am more than sure that Holland is winning. Brazil had a lot of luck to get to the semi finals...

 

Anyway, hope we can play some nice football against Germany, that's gonna be a nice game to watch!


Uhh no team was really superior today. Both squandered whatever chance they could create. It was a cagey inactive semi-final. Dutch should have brought the game forward but sat back and paid for it in penalties.
