The song that plays in Zanarkand Ruins, "Someday The Dream Will End", is my favourite videogame song of all time, because it reminds me of my uncle... he bought the game for me at the midnight release here, and he sat and watched me play the game from start until finish... sort of. When I was in Zanarkand Ruins near the end, it was a Wednesday and my uncle told me he couldn't come round on Thursday because he had to work late, so he'd come on the Friday... well on the Thursday, on his way home from work, he was in a crash (He rode a motorbike) and died... so being the sad fuck I am, when I heard about it... I got the family picture (He was in almost all of our family photo's, he was like a second dad!) with him in it, placed it infront of the tele, and carried on playing on the Friday and finished it, just so he could see me finish it to the end!

... So yeah, that's why I've got a huge emotional connection and attachment to the game itself, as well as the OST.

OP: For some reason I always thought that Freedom Wars OST was inspired by the MGS series OST.
