I'm not sure what your argument is here? Is it that Sony is the exact same as MS in trying to institute DRM?
Well, when we get to the point where Sony is saying "we want to release all our games requiring PSNow", THEN we might have a level discussion. But right now, MS is the one who keeps making statements like "hmm you know, we still believe in the always online thing"
