My thoughts exactly. Just a different setting but from the preview I HaVE seen, it has whacky guns and shows the protagonist zipping around power lines in a very ratchety style.
To be honest now that Sony will have its own studios developing the R&C IP, it might breed some creativity into the series that it's lacked these past few years.
