1)The point I was trying to make is that MS or Sony won't adopt it as a standard device - ie a new pack in controller. If they did, they would take a huge PR hit.
2) How many games can they make for it? And how fast? And how good could they be? By the time such a controller was ready for market with a handful of games we'd be into 2008 at least. 3rd parties wouldn't develop for it (unless offered a bundle of cash upfront, which I doubt the developer has, and question whether MS or Sony would be willing) until they saw enough of them sold to justify a title. That would make it very hard for the peripheral to become a must-have, unless it was, somehow, backwards compatable with existing games.
