no, I am probably not.. but I am generalizing the situation. I disliked and don't agree with the exclusivity deals set last gen also.. even moreso than what's happening this gen, but it is what it is. The fact of the matter is, the wheels have been turned on this and it doesn't look like it will ever stop, considering how publishers can make alot of money off selling things like this apart from the game itself. Even last gen, when I knew I was going to be missing out on some content or get timed delays for content, I just dealt with it.. I don't see why it's hard for the majority on the xbox community to do the same. sure it's a year long wait, but it's not like it won't eventually come to the xbox platform. And it's not just Destiny at the moment that will come with timed DLCs.. MS is continuing the trend with the COD timed exclusives, Evolve timed exclusives, BF timed exclusives, PVZ timed release, buying 3rd party exclusivity, etc. Why shouldn't Sony start doing the same for their gamerbase? it wasn't like the exclusivity stuff released on the xbox couldn't of be available for the ps at the same time. also, had Sony not bought the exclusivity, i'm sure MS would of, but seeing that MS went and put their eggs into other/the same baskets, this gave Sony an opportunity to put their eggs into Destiny. Just so happens at this point in time, Sony's investment looks like it'll pay off big time compared to where MS went.
And yes, laughting at the people who have to wait is shitty. but im not laughing.. im just not sympathizing, because unfortunately, it's part of the gaming landscape nowadays. you win some, you lose some.. but hardly not anything worth "boycotting/pulling support for" a game for like what xb fans are threatening to do.
