I still stand by one thing though... this whole DLC or exclusive content or timed this or that as a way of making multiplatform games "better" on one coneole as opposed to another.... were all started by MS. They started this. Once upon a time multiplats were just that, the same game released on different platforms. But it wasn't enough for MS to jut get the games on their platform, they wanted to make sure that there version of the game was the best one to get. Even if it was nothing more than a test of patience. Point is, what we are seeing today is the ugly face of th ebaby MS birthed last gen. And its going to get worse. For all fans..... or hopefully just stops. |
Well, it wasn´t just Microsoft, developers and publisher jumped right on that boat.
It´s the case of "better one bird in my hand than two flying".
MS and Sony paid front hand than the developers have money to work while diminishing their risk. The same thing aplies to retailer exclusive pre-order bonus.
The costs of next generation "demand" those kind of agreament.
