I like SM3DW better, but MK8 is the better game. 3DW is possibly my favorite 3D Mario. Its gameplay is tight, it has classic Mario style, it's awesome. But it also drops the ball in environment graphics, online play and theme. MK8 is a perfect execution of a modern MK game and it's something 3DW could learn from to address its few flaws.
