Seriously? He is discussing controls that can be used to directly affect game play. Your analogy fails at making a cogent point with regard to the discussion and you are in danger of derailing the conversation.
OT: It is my hope developers will make more use of the extra controls available on the DS4. Destiny for instance. As of now gestures are mapped to the D-pad. Imagine if they used the touchpad. Instead of four basic gestures you could have many more. I like what Sucker Punch did with the touch pad (and the Sixaxis controls turning your controller into a spray paint can) in making the player use the touch pad to perform the qucik time events and such as opposed to the most popular use which is the map. Of course, it works well as a map button but can be so much more.
I think with sixaxis and the touch pad there are so many uses we just need good implementation of them and so far there have only been a few as far as the motion controls go. All that said, Sony has to cultivate these controls so that the development community at large can see the benefit before choosing to gamble on them and so far Sony has, at best, done a marginal job to this point.
