i agree with him, whatever, its not like you have to buy it, a d doing so spoils the game anyway, its not like buying them gives you an unfair advantage in multiplayer.

people whining over the most trivial of shit these days

i wonder if they would have whined in the early 90s that they had to buy game mags to get the cheat codes from,  too

Isn't that how it starts, trivial?  It's how it becomes acceptable to the point when its NOT trivial and you have DLC for huge chunks of games, even bigger than what they already cut out and make you pay for twice.

It's this kind of attitude that allows things to fester and become worse and worse.  When your favorite IP starts charging you for the next level or the energy refils or multiplayer, maybe you'll sing a different tune.

Nope that isn't how anything starts. People buying them is all they care about. If enough people pay for them they keep doing it no one buys they stop doing it. The developer is free to experiment with any revenue making model they wish. You and I are free to spend on their offerings or not. Don't like the boosters etc. Don't pay for em.

Also, just because they offer these types of DLC why does knowing itis there diminish your enjoyment of the game(s)? The fervor with which people react to this stuff is just so comical. It's your money don't spend it if the content doesn't appeal to you.
