how is that any different from going online and reading. a guide to the hidden items locations instead of buying the time saver pack to do the exact same thing?  (hint,  it isnt any different at all) 

The "reveal everything"-microtransaction isn´t the worst offender. Agreed. It should still be free and given to you as an option inside the settings.

But consumable ressources are a whole different beast.
