Did you ever hear of "cheat codes" ? Those things used to be free.

Now we should be thankful to beeing able to skip parts of a terribly designed game (parts that require un-fun grinding are bad game design)

Grinding can be fun too. But if something is so bad that people would rather pay money to skip it, you fucked up.

only free if given to you by a friend or by someone who had actually paid the money for the magazine or guide said codes were in. 

 

how is that any different from going online and reading. a guide to the hidden items locations instead of buying the time saver pack to do the exact same thing?  (hint,  it isnt any different at all)
