I know pretty well what is the situation of my country, but how losing the cup would benefit it in any way?
Brazil lost the two last cups and people still voted for PT to keep destroying or country, people made a huge manifestation last confedaration cup and just forget about it in days and turned back to do nothing.
We live in a shit country, you know it, and if you really want it to change you better hope and fight for a better educational system that allows people to think without being manipulated, while being able to distinguish things.
I love the game, I love the world cup, and it being in Brazil changes nothing.
Blaming the cup for our problems is just plain ridiculous, we did nothing until now with the last cup here being in 1950, the people are to blame for being stupid, not a game that just bring some happiness to the people.
Do you really think that it is alienating the people? They are all alienated already, we are still a colony and that will just change with years of progress in our bases. We are rotten pretty deep.
