To be fair Sony and MS both have three stronghold IP's (Gran Turismo, God Of War, Uncharted for Sony and Halo, Gears Of War and Forza for MS) so I don't see why it matters in the end.

Also these many flops probably have a lot to do with Vita exclusives, Move exclusives and games like PSASBR all of which have flopped. Other than that, I can't think of many Sony games which have flopped since 2010.

Puppeteer, Sly 4, GT6, GoW:A, Beyond2Souls, Ratchet and Clank basically all the ones since 2010, Starhawk, KZ3, Resistance 3, MAG, Twisted Metal, Sorcery. This list is just for the ones I have bought, some of them weren't megaflops, and some stayed close to be profitable and some are exclusives dev by 3rd parties (like Beyond and Ratchet), but there had been several games that we don't even remember that Sony have lost money on.

I think you didn't see Lawlight's post. He posted official figures from Europe where GOW: A made $35 million revenue by June end of 2013. Also it sold 570,000 standalone units in March 2013 in the US alone (620,000 units with bundles) at $60 which gives it another $34.2 million for the standalone units, in less than one month. Of course its been selling for much longer now, so overall, I think its already profitable.

As for flops, you seemingly have overlooked every Vita game released by Sony, I think if any of them has recouped the development costs it can only be UC: GA. They have published 19 games for the Vita. Also don't forget Move flops like PS Move Heroes.

I also believe that KZ 3 has certainly turned a profit, it didn't sell terribly. But on the other hand Infamous 2 was a huge flop. I agree with the rest of your post though.

Owww you missed the point I tried, some of those were flops other were at best break even (and we don't know the cost to make GoW:A, I saw the post).

I don't have a Vita so I wouldn't be able to list all of them from the top of the head, and probably most floped. KZ3 maybe had small profit but wasn't the weight carrier.
