VGC overtracked the PS4 in the US the last two months... lol

VGC overtracked the PS4 v NPD by 54k in April

VGC overtracked the PS4 v NPD by 13k in May

I've read that VGC adjusts its figures when official numbers are released, so I'm curious...  Has anyone kept track of VGC's accuracy over time?  I'd be very interested to see a comparison of VGC's estimates vs official numbers.  If anyone's been tracking VGC's numbers before adjustments, it may be possible to create a line chart showing a margin of error.  Does that make sense?

*searches*

Here... something like this...

Rather than exact numbers, the idea would be to show estimates as a range of probabilities.  And by tracking how closely VGC's predictions match official numbers over time, that range may even be narrowed (or, indeed, widened).

It's just a thought but it's something I've wondered about for a while.

There are some people that post pre-adjusment and post-adjument for the week, maybe someone have historic data... and probably ioi have the information backed up for all weeks and how much adjustments he made... some mod may know it... try to talk to Axumblade or Smeags.
