The problem as am sure someone from Europe can explain it better is that the EU store is using 1 to 1 pricing and using british pound so 40$ vita games are 40£(68.6$). The shipping pricing is also questionable(5£ inside UK and 10-15£ for international), so it becomes cheaper to just import from US. People have been complaing on Twitter and their facebook page and the press release doesn't seem to address anything really.

An example : Dangan Ronpa 2 LE is selling for 60£ + shipping comes to 75£ which in turn translates to $128...

Blame your VAT and other luxury taxes.

It's not VATs fault. Every other retailer is able to sell games at reasonable prices. As long as others such as Game and Amazon still sell NIS games it won't bother me what their prices are because I won't be buying from them.

The problem is not with games, but with Collector/Limited editions that are only sold through NISA store.

Luckily, I only care about games, as I don't collect anything. But it's still upseting to see those kind of rates...
