Easy, jealousy. Most people are jealous of his successfull career.

Also, because of his social lifestyle and his confidence. He lives life like a  Jock/Popular kid which, doesn't sit well with gamers who associate themselves with similar people like themselves.

No one has ever single handedly made a AAA game so technically everyones overrated according to you?

He helped make Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. Two wildly successfull games that forever changed their respective genres. How is that overrated?
