I'm of the B variant too, which helps with multiple playthroughs (sometimes concurrently switching between characters) making changes based on what I think the character would do. I wonder how gamers of the A variant do multiple play throughs? You're role playing after all, why play as yourself every time. |
i've always kind of thought the existance of gamers of the A variant was part of why first person shooters are soo popular.
i personally like character driven games. i'd rather play a third person shooter than a first person shooter. i like cinematic games a lot. i've played though games where i didn't like the gameplay but i loved the story. i find character editors to be a chore,.. i click female and then random until i like one enough. basically, i feel like my B status affects my choices in the games i choose to play and enjoy.
..so i got to figure that A gamers do the same. first person shooters as those have better "immersion". probably online multiplayer because there is no story to get bored by. games like skyrim and fallout too, the western RPGs instead of the jrpgs. games with fantastic character editors. there are people that love these things. basically all the genres and features that i hate.
