Offering Digital only allows them to actually release the game in the territory without fear of not making their money back. Sure there will be less buys as most still only buy retail, but the higher margin of profit from each sold and the fact that MOST of any game's price is shipping and handling anyway kinda makes up for that. |
What about releasing it only in the UK and everyone from Europe who wants a physical copy can import it from there without having any network issues? If Gamestop in the US can sell games exclusively then, why can't something similar happen in the UK?
