If you are still having problems finding a Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle, you can get Mario Kart from Amazon for ~$48 with free shipping.

Buying a new deluxe and this will cost 348$ but you get an extra game (not including Mario Kart 8's free game) besides the wheel and controller. Depends if she wants the Mario Bros. or Windwaker as the extra game though, and the Mario Bros. Bundle was more common when I last looked.
