This is probably nothing, but if it's true it really shakes my faith in the PS brand. What will Sony do if one of their home consoles doesn't sell well?

Its interesting watching the PS brand. The PS4 has come out flying but has slowed down heavily. Already sub 100k WW and with contraction bound to happen in the console business its troubling.

Also, the PS3 has dropped out a lot faster than anyone expected. It won't have the longeivety of the PS2 and will barely crawl to the 10year landmark. The PS2 sold 50million+ since the release of the PS3 and the PS3 isn't gonna come close to that.

Well yeah they aren't selling as much as they used to, but that's not what bothers me. Popularity comes and goes. What bothers me is Sony is bassicly giving 8.5 million of their loyal fans a big middle finger and walking away because they aren't happy with the sales.

8th gen predictions. (made early 2014)
PS4: 60-65m
WiiU: 30-35m
X1: 30-35m
3DS: 80-85m
PSV: 15-20m
