Not even close. Destiny has no where near the lore of Halo. Halo has a ridiculously good universe built around it. Also 343 are much much better than you give them credit for. Try playing one of their games, you might actually like it.

Yeah I was on the Halo hate train before I played CE last year on my PC. It felt so good that Halo: MCC is making me buy an X1 this December.
