I can play the semantic game too.  You are correct, the Kinect was very successful.  During the motion control fad that was started by the Wii.

Let me try to explain the difference in the PS2 vs. the Wii for your comparison.  Since the PS2 virtually every gaming machine has included DVD playback as a default option.  This is not a fad, this is a trend.  This is innovation.

Since the Wii, the only other "successful" motion control peripheral has been removed from its mandatory connection to it's console.  This indicates that motion control is not a trend, it is a fad.  This is not innovation.

If it's not an innovation  why does all the current generation have motion control ....and wii u doesn't have dvd playback nor did the wii  so your wrong .....
