I doubt Sony will become arrogant, at least not this generation. The difference is that on ps3, Sony came to the generation after 2 years of domination thinking there weren't any competition, while with ps4, Sony is coming after taking huge losses from ps3. Sony realize this time around that NA is a sensible market and won't hesitate changing sides if they need to.
