Owning an Xbox One doesn't make you a "real gamer".

Owning the consle is one thing.  Using it to play games is a whole other story!

When the PS2 came out, it was the best and cheapest DVD player on the market.  Many people bought it for that alone.  When the PS3 came out, it was the BEST bluray player for half the price on the market.  It too sold a lot of units for that feature alone.

THere is not way to put a number on that, but if you look at game attach rates on the PS2 and PS3 compared to other consoles, it kind of makes sense.
