But were judginf Colombia based on a weak group (it was the weakest group of the first phase) and a match x a completly wrecked Uruguay. Were gona have a clear picture after the Brazil match. Brazil isnt realy playing well but every team that gave Brazil a hard time also gave everyone else a hard time too so again might be a case of reference rather than Brazil not beeing well.

Weak is rather relative in this world cup, wouldn't you think?

Either way, having watched both Colombia and Brazi, the former seems to be playing better. Also calling Colombia's group weak and Uruguay wrecked is a bit unfair. Every single one of these countries are on the world cup for a very good reason, and have already previously shown their worth.

OT - Phew. That was a close one. For a moment I thought Germany were done for.  Every team has a day when is not quite able to play to their full, and sometimes it costs them dearly. Today, though, was not the case.

Colombias group was pretty week, I watched the matches. Ivory coast never leaves up to its potential, Japan is just speed and nothing else and Greece has a severe creation problem and its defense isnt quite as good as it used to be. And Uruguay was wrecked after the Suarez event, it was a very heavy blow to the team, specially because without Suarez Uruguay has lost almost every match on the South American qualifiers (they got routed by Colombia 4x1 for example), so the team knew theyre World cup chances had gone down the drain the minute Suarez got suspended.

Colombia does look very solid but that can be just because they havent faced tough competition so far or because they are in fact going to be one of the title contenders. And theyre playing Brazil that looks like crap, but that may be just because it faced very tough competition so far. In my opnion its a little bit of both and Fridays match will be a pretty good one.
