Well if you're going to buy a pre-built pc and mainly stick to Steam sales, why not get a ps3 with ps+ instead.
New pc games are still upto $60, only some console games are $$40, most $60 but you can get at least half that back when you're done with it by trade in, or recoup even more selling it online (nm sharing them between friends) If you want to play with your friends day 1, console works out cheaper.
If you just want to play old games, ps+ is the cheapest way.
Anyway where do you buy those much cheaper multi platform games? Watch dogs and Wolfenstein are $60 on Steam.
