just a random thought came to me today and i'm just going to run with it.  i'm just going to post gamers reactions to two "recently" announced games.  all reactions are posts here on vgcz,.. i'm not going to link to any but if you are determined i'm sure you can find who said them.   ...and as you all know me so well you can rest assured there is no point at all to  this thread and the two games i've choosen are completely random, unrelated, and do not prove a thing.

;)

It looks great, aside from what I have seen of Link so far.

I fucking hate the way Link looks, reminds me of that possible disney zelda movie that nintendo didn't approve.

It looks great, apart from Link. I like the Skyward Sword Link more...

I really hope cell-shaded Link is a temporary model holder. I am DONE with cel shading, I loathe it more than peas, and I can't f**king stand peas.

Yeah it has a very strong whiff of Skyward Sword to it.

Now I'm not complaining about it, it looks utterly fantastic. But I understand why some might say "eh" to it.

Cel-shading is an ugly abomination. I was playing A Link to the Past last night and was admiring the graphics and art, this new kind of graphics I don't think I can accept :(

I don't understand why people think Link looks bad. He looks AMAZING. I love the cell shaded color on his outfit. It's completely different from a realistic art style that would only highlight any technical failings that might pop up.
I'm one of those people who will simply never understand why people want realism in a game like this. Like I think I'm actually incapable of understanding it.

This is the first time I've been excited about a Zelda game in a very very long time. Partly because of it's art style (which I find amazing) and partly because they are finally changing the game's formula some.

The cel-shading is visually appalling. The nonsense someone was posting about Ghibli or Mononoke or whatever means nothing to the game's primary market, viz. the west.

The new Zelda U looks ten times better than that tech demo. I'm surprised so many people think otherwise. The tech demo looked way too shiny.

It looks REALLY cool, digging the art style so much, it's gorgeous!

That looks really good. I love the atmosphere.

It looks gourgeos really.

I want it to be a big retail game because I really like the style. I hope to see some nice adventures with that game.

Ooooh, that's a cool-looking artstyle.

Looks to much like ICO. Its cool to inspired by something but you gotta know when to draw the line. That line has been crossed waay to many times this gen.

ico feeling , i loved ico and this game arstyle i amazing , colorssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks visualyl stunning.
