Like, I get it, its a gaming site and we are comparing gaming only benefits but if we really want to get into the argument of which one is truely better, we should take into account the wide variety benefits of what PC has to offer cause people buy PCs every 5-7 years anyway... Sure, not everyone uses things photoshop, video converting/editing, streaming to twitch and etc but the benefit of buying a PC is that if you want to do something like that down the line, you can. I mean heck, its so hard to use this site without a PC anyway so its like, if you are going to buy a PC down the road which people will have to eventually cause PCs break or become so outdated that basic applications run like an elephant that why not spend extra money and make it gaming grade

Also, while I do agree that a console is easier to use, the advantage of PC is being able to do PowerUser sorta deal that you can't do in a Console... Like modding virtually every game or removing things like DRM and forcing the 30 fps lock to go to 60 fps etc

No, you are right. With PCs you can do a lot more. But as you also pointed out, not everyone uses those features. Those that do will be buying or building a PC with those things in mind and thats all well and good. But a majority of the public, couldn't really be bothered. The most majority of the peple out tehre have is a laptop. Thats it, and in most cases its actually a netbook.

People will be shocked if they knew how many people don't even know what an GTX or R9 is. But everyone (and their dog) know s what a playstation, xbox or nintendo is. Hell, my mum till this day refers to everything videogame related as nintendo lol.
