Kinect obviously hadn't come out yet -- which I think was the huge contributor in putting 360 over 50 million and beyond.
This time around though, the Kinect doesn't have the same appeal as it did the first time. I predict X1 to fall somewhere around 50 million lifetime.
I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
