You obviosuly didn't read the OP and then still went on to post. If you did then you would see why what you are saying isn't true.
There is so much wrong with the bolded part that i don't even know where to begin. I will put it this way though, PCs have more to fear from consoles becoming more like them than they other way round and in truth the only thing saving PCs now is that they always offer a higher performance advantage. The core gamer you talk about specifically only exists in the PC space. And they are nothing compared to the millions of "core gamers" that exist in the cosnoles space.
And no, its not "easier" to manage anything on PC.
