If people can buy into a game simply because it is prettier than the rest why can they not buy into it so they can roleplay their fantasies? It is a Role Playing Game at its core. Combat is less than half of what this type of game is. |
Interesting reads and both extremely petty. To quote the first reply in the Escapist thread: "This proves it. No matter what you do, you can never make everyone happy."
First one is a straight male gamer being homophobic. The other one is a gay gamer being overly-righteous, he says they are being stereotypical if a gay male gets annoyed at a straight guys rejection? I did not know this was a stereotype. I wonder how many straight men take it personal when they get rejected...more of a male trait. :P
Sure character interaction is a big part of this series not banging everything that moves.
