I have to agree with this. At least with indie titles, you're getting something fresh. AAA studios don't like innovating any more. Any one remember when Ubisoft said that they weren't going to make any new IPs that can't be turned into yearly franchises? There's the evidence right there.
Games such as Shovel Knight provide far more creativity, and therefore, far more fun than another itteration of Assassin's Creed or Call of Duty.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying Indies are better than AAA studios. I _am_ saying they're better than yearly AAA rehashes _and_ I'm saying they're the future of gaming entertainment.
