As an Xbone hater, I hope it dies.

As an Xbone lover, dropping it killed its potential and it's annoying how the haters made it this way. They won't buy the console anyways without a Kinect.

The haters won this gen, people.

It's not our fault MS has failed to produce one blockbuster, non-party title. At the very least, something that promises the future of innovated and interactive gaming. Nope, they gave us dance games galore and a shit ton of voice command. It also made the console $100 unnecessarily for a device nobody really asked for or wanted, albeit some customers are happy with it (a small minority)

MS had no faith on Kinect selling on its own after it failed to produce any real games on the 360, despite its amazing sales. Lastly, they gave people a choice, with or without. That sounds like a plus to most consumers looking for a next gen console, at a competitive price.

Hate, hate, hate.

Exactly there are two sides to the argument as to why Kinect failed thsi time:

1) Not everyone wants it, and most see it as a forced waste of money.

2) If it isn't a gimmick than it is MS' job to prove it.  I was blown away at E3 2013 that they didn't have a single AAA Kinect exclusive.  Forcing Ryse to not use it was beyond idiotic.  So yes it was only a gimmick because even MS only used  it as one.
