I'm tired of bad games period. If a game is good, I don't care if it's 1st/2nd/3rd party or Indie - I'll play it.
When it comes to owning consoles, being on the outside is so much better than inside. You have this machine that has maybe 3-4 games you like so far and you're just left to twist in the wind while awaiting new games.
On the outside though? I get to ignore the shovelware and build a list of the good games that have released - not been announced, released - and when that list has reached the "magic number", I go get my console.
So no, I don't mind the "indie boom" as much as I mind Capcom's on disc DLC(and as you can see, they're about to bite the dust) because I can ignore it.
