| zehh25 said: Everyone was saying that the ref from Brazil x Croatia was biased, yesterday we had two PKs for Brazil that were easy to see (one on Hulk and the other when Neymar's ball was going to the goal and the defender used his hand to take it off) and also the ref could have given many cards to Chile, now you say he was a great ref just because his mistakes were against Brazil. If you haven't seen the second PK I'm talking about, just pay attention to the vid from 35min, 1st half and you will see that Chile defender had his arms raised. Here is a link were you can see: http://globoesporte.globo.com/jogo/copa-do-mundo-2014/28-06-2014/brasil-chile.html Also, if you pay attention to Hulk's goal, the ref took a lot of time to decide and the assistant was going to the middle of the field. So, the question in: who said Hulk used his arm? No one outside the game can talk to the ref and even watching the replay later on TV we can't be sure he used his arm. Anyway, I just think that people have been trying to make it seems that Brazil can only win this cup if the refs help, even the international press is acting this way. |
What a surprise that Brazilian media claims the ref was unfair to them ;)
I'll give you that one with the hands. That could've been a penalty. That one wasn't talked about in our media
The cards the ref gave if anything were too lenient for Brazil. Overall both could've gathered more cards but Brazil lucked out even more since they were the ones who advanced with not enough cards against them.
And I won't even argue with you over Hulk's clear handball. If you can't see a handball in this picture then I'll readily ignore anything you have to say from this point on.

Upper arm = hand. Period. Haven't seen a single news outlet refute that.
