It's easy to say it was better after it won the World Cup. That WC was insanely tense as well. We beat Turkey on the semi-finals based on luck and some controversial referee decisions. TURKEY! We did have Ronaldo and Rivaldo though =P

 

I'm not saying Brazil played well against Chile, far from that. First half was great, but something happened at second half that... holy crap... But 2002 was not "miles better", no.

I admit " MILES better" was an exaggeration, but you can't deny that Brazil's team was better in 2002!


The 2002 team could probably beat all 32 teams of this world cup. Including the current Brazilian squad.

Lucio,Cafu,Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho and Ronaldo.  Too much talent in the same team.
