I disagree. X360 sold more at the beginning because it was way cheaper (sometimes being at less than a half of the price!). But, in the end, PS3 managed to sell as much. How such extraordinary recovery took place? PS3's strong line up of exclusives did the magic, not multiplatforms (which did not become inferior on the X360 at any moment during the entire generation).
PS4 is a bit more powerful than XOne, I know that. But if, along with the hardware price match, XOne came with an online service offering what PSN Plus offers, I bet the system would sell as much or even more than PS4. Meaning that, at the exact same price (or better saying value-for-money) so that the only differentiating factor is the machine and its games, XOne would be selling more than PS4 due to the fact that XOne has better games and that alone is far more important than the machine itself.
