external hdd support

better camera (aka kinect)

more silent console

less power consumption

Can you install games to external hdd now? havent bothered to check.

Camera is indeed better (1080p) but its also much more expensive, if you just want a camera for streaming online.

Really? Both of mine (ps4/xboxone) are virtually inaudible as all of the games i own are digital, do they both still have jet engine level noise while reading disks?

PS4 uses more power when gaming, Xbox one uses more power while idle. which is what both consoles are the majority of the time, I believe the kwh/year for xbox one was more than that of the ps4, lemme dig up the chart.

But really, power consumption isn't really something i would consider to be a major selling point for ANY system.

lol sure u can install games on the external hdd. and that resluts in faster loading times as well

there are several reports for slightly louder ps4 while gaming (depends on the game, btw :D)

but ofc its total subjectiv if u feel annoyed by the noise. i just own an xbox one. and the reading disk noise is still louder than fan noise. ofc not compareable to xbox360

as i said less power consumption*

*except connected standby due to kincet recognition ;)
