P.S. - Just wanna say that I never liked the rationale at the end. It's like destroying the cure for cancer because you can't sacrifice one person.........that isn't your daughter......which the person volunteered for in the first place. Sorry guess I'm a "greater good" kind of guy. If it was my kid then that's a moral issue but he let his personal demons get in the way of the world getting better............and killed a lot of people with the best of intentions.


Well if you think that they made a strong bond as if adopted daugther or future lover and that she is the only special one to him. Considering he lost all interest in humans in general his choice seems the only normal one. He fought a suicidal mission but weren't warned that the girl would die to save humanity if he got there. Possibility of death is different than giving her to sacrifice.
